Not for any religious reason, I mean, I’m pretty secular. However, I do prefer the idea of my kids thinking Jesus breaks into their house to hide eggs once a year than the same scenario with a six-foot rabbit. That’s terrifying. Also, it’s a funnier image. Jesus sneaking around dark houses putting eggs in random places? I want my kids to grow up with that kind of absurdism.
