• Hunger Games headcanon: Peeta once read about a KFC Double-down sandwich in a history book, and ended up laughing so hard at the concept of a sandwich without bread that he had to be escorted from the classroom.

  He couldn’t wrap his head around why anyone would think removing bread could possibly make a meal anything but worse. 

  

  Gale didn’t quite “get” the joke, though, since he wasn’t aware there was a way to prepare a sandwich other than in between two slices of meat.
