  Is it a good idea to be rude to people you dislike? I'm nice to everyone, including the people I hate, which makes them think I like them, which really annoys me. Should I start being rude to them so they'll leave me alone?

  I mean, there are ways to tell people you don’t like them without being rude. Try to avoid being rude to anyone, just as a general rule, but if they’re being disrespectful or rude (which I’m assuming, otherwise why would you dislike them), it’s not rude to call them out on it, especially if it’s making you dislike them.

  Like, if you really want people to dislike you, being rude is the way to go. If you just want them to leave you alone, though, maybe you should just tell them that respectfully. That way you get the same results, but you don’t come off as a dick.
