  As I’m sure many of you guys know, my friends Jenn and Gia have recently gotten engaged.

  Now, I’m not usually a strong advocate of happiness, but if anybody deserves it, it’s these two wonderful ladies who truly and from the bottom of their hearts love each other. The thing standing in their way, as it always seems to be, is money. It always seems to come back to that, doesn’t it? Planning a wedding is expensive. Rings are expensive, food is expensive, music is expensive, you seem to be getting the picture.

  So the link is for a fundraiser in the hopes that if any of you have a few dollars you’re willing to spare to make these ladies’ dreams possible, they’d much appreciate it! Clearly, they won’t hold it against you if you’re unable to donate (times is hard, a lot of you are as broke as both them and myself), but this is just letting you guys know that they’re willing to accept any help people are willing to give, and they’ll be overjoyed if you’re able to do so!

  Think of it this way: If a friend came up to you and was like “hey, I really need help with money for my wedding,” and you were like “how much are we talking?” and they replied “like a few bucks. Even something small like two or three dollars would help, and of course it’s okay if you can’t spare it” I feel like most of you would say yes to that if you could. Of course, I understand if you can’t, but my friends mean a lot to me, and even though I’m strapped for cash, I’ll do what I can to help them!
