I can’t stress enough that I couldn’t care less what happens to these characters.
neutral-milk-mind-palace replied to your post: I haven’t watched Glee in a really long time, but seriously:
I feel kinda the same way…also I’d much rather see a straight up muscial show ala the Buffy epiosde, One More with Feeling
I just feel like there are so many things I could be watching that aren’t so damn fluffy. And I don’t mean the tone is light and soft, I mean it appears to have a lot of substance at a glance, but in fact has a large amount of volume and next-to-nothing in terms of mass. It’s the television equivalent of snacking on hard pretzels: It’s bland and flavorless, but at least it’s something in your stomach until something worthwhile comes along.
It’s like every second of the show is shouting “HEY WERE YOU AWARE THIS SHOW IS GLEE? HERE, LET ME SHOW YOU.”
And for some reason my parents have a monopoly on the remote and won’t let me change it, even though they don’t really like Glee that much either.
I don’t HATE Glee, I don’t think it’s incredibly BAD, but it is just plain not worth my time.
My iPod Shuffle seems downright intent on making sure I listen to Lea Michele singing “Run Joey Run.”
I’m not even a glee fan
I found a package of the music on the internet like a year ago and figured it couldn’t hurt just to have it
And now my iPod wants me to listen to “Run Joey Run” every single day
halp
The hell is happening?!
And it always plays “Don’t Stop Believin’,” which is well documented as one of my least favorite songs.
