I did a Zaphod picture for Douglas Adams’ birthday! I wanted to make him super-colorful and have a really weird sense of style. Also, it is very difficult to make two heads realistically sit on one pair of shoulders, and honestly, I’d pay to see the skeleton of someone from Betelgeuse V
I think I may have found the perfect presidential candidate:

I’ve extracted all my facebook statuses since 2009 (there’s an app) and am reading through them now. A lot of them come from before I had tumblr, but they’re stuff I would have put on tumblr if I did have it. I’m presenting these mostly without context:
The box on the left is full of papers. The box on the right is full of a bag of sheets and a copy of the Onion. I don’t know what’s in the middle box.
From there, we move slightly to the right, where we have a banana-shaped chair that has a stack of books and DVDs on it. I have “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” “Dexter: Season 1,” “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen,” “Final Crisis,” “Brave New World,” and “World War Z.”
From there, we pan up to my bookshelf. I can’t list all the books on it, but Eagle-eyed readers will enjoy my literary choices:
And now, a series of close-ups. This one reveals Giorgio the Tiny Spider-Man and Preston the Tiny Batman standing in front of my Lord of the Rings and Dune books.
Slightly to the left, we have Abe Lincoln, Buddha, King Tut, a Crystal Skull, and Master Chief.
Panning up, we see Zaphod Beeblebrox next to a Dalek and a Pokéball. They are standing by the Satanic Verses.
To the left are two decorative, but empty, Coca-Cola bottles. We also see the plastic cone glimpsed in the last photo. It is autographed by Tim Meadows. He was not pleased that I recognized him.
Move to the right. This is my bed. The armchair pillow rests beneath the Inception Poster, between the Jayne Hat crocheted by my actual mother and the stacks of books and movies:
Pan up and to the left. Here is my Hunger Games wall, made out of the only two copies of Entertainment Weekly I have ever purchased:
Let’s move down. You’ve got your basic stack of DVDs and books that accumulated around my bed. As per usual, I would recommend most of these books.
So there’s Anno Dracula, Heroes, Sherlock Holmes, Psych, Inception, Firefly, Mockingjay, some Doctor Who, some Batman, my Dune DVDs, and Mean Girls. This room is a lot less depressing than the closet.
I wasn’t aware your nerd cred went past playing Ford Prefect. Four for you, Mos Def. You go Mos Def.
