Speaking of November, you doing Movember/Novembeard?
We usually call it “No-Shave November” here, and I’ll have to wait and see. Usually after three days of not shaving my face starts to feel gross and I just end up shaving it all off no matter what. I just shaved last night, so I’ve got a little while to decide whether I’m participating in that!

Fucking Thursday. The first day of November. With only three fucking weeks until Thanksgiving.

You’ve just added animal rights activists to a list of people who send you anon hate with terrible grammar ;)
Ech, they already do (or did, since anon has been turned off indefinitely). If one more person refers to my eating of meat as a “holocaust” then I will burn Utica to the ground.

I think Oswin is prettier than Clara anyway =) I just don’t have a clue how she can be a companion if she’s a dalek and dead.
The fact that this is Doctor Who means those two things are easier to work around than her having a different name than the one she says when people ask her what her name is.

Well the same girl is cast as a character called Clara later down the line. But I do think that people are jumping to conclusions and playing right into Moffat’s hands :L
The only reason people thought the character she’s playing in episode 5 would be called “Clara” is because one dude snuck on set and tweeted that he thought he heard Matt Smith call her character that. A number of other people who snuck on set also tweeted that they’d heard him calling her a number of different names, but the common factor in all of them was some variation of the name “Oswin.”
Even if the new companion turns out to be a different character named “Clara” (even though if that were the case, it wouldn’t really make sense for the production team to go to such great lengths to cover up her appearance in this episode), I just don’t see how one guy’s affirmation that her name is Clara is more reliable evidence than the dozens of other contradictory accounts both from other set reporters and the show itself.
cabaline replied to your post: Ok so i know you’re a big obama supporter but idk, there’s things about him that i just don’t like. for example at 1st he was NOT supportive of gay rights, he only recently changed his mind obviously just to get peoples’ votes. Another thing is he wants us all to have the same health care. Why should us hard working ppl get the same healthcare as someone who doesn’t even work. I don’t find that fair.
Rebloggable version?
On it like an easter bonnet!
cabaline replied to your post: Fun fact: “Year 3000” wasn’t originally by the Jonas Brothers. It was originally performed by an English boy band called “Busted,” and in the Jonas Brothers’ cover, they removed all references to anything remotely sexual.
The Jonas Brothers ripped off Busted and removed the best bits. Busted were amazing. I was heartbroken when they split up.
I just realized that you’re my point-man whenever I need to talk about anything British because you’ve already heard of whatever I’m talking about so I don’t need to explain anything

How’s beardwatch going?
About 2 days better! I think I can upgrade it to “fuzz,” but I won’t know for sure until I shave the sides again. I’ll be doing that later today, probably!
