You’ve come to the right place, my friend. I was part of my school’s learning support program as well as the gifted program. One time a learning support teacher told to to stop working on my gifted program homework because it was a “waste of time.” The learning support program actually refused to acknowledge that I was also in the gifted program, and because I had two IEPs, the school viewed me as two separate people.
This is one of the reasons it took so long to identify the fact that my grades only suffered because I was too advanced for the class, and the only reason they wouldn’t give me course work at my level is because my grades were suffering.
It also really made it take forever for me to be able to get help for my bipolar disorder, because the learning support teachers thought the students they were “just stupid” (direct quote) and I couldn’t seem to get psychiatric help through the school without talking to the antagonistic, verbally abusive learning support teachers who openly hated me because I refused to be condescended to and that was the way they insisted on interacting with me.

On purpose, or accidentally?
If it’s on purpose, then yes, definitely a dealbreaker.
If it’s by accident, I’m really bad with financial matters, and I’d suggest we find an accountant or somebody to keep us from spending all our money.
Either way, there’d definitely be some hesitation before opening a joint bank account.
