Whoops! Didn’t realize those terms might be unfamiliar to my non-american followers, or just people who haven’t heard of them!
Sparknotes and cliff notes are basically condensed study guides that you’re supposed to use as a companion to the actual material (i.e. you’ve got a test coming up, you’ve read the book, and you use sparknotes to help yourself understand). They’re basically these harvard scholars who’ve read the books and taken the classes already, and are publishing notes written specifically for high schoolers.
However, some people try to just read the sparknotes or cliff notes instead of doing the actual material, and most (not all) of the time teachers are aware of this, and the sparknotes people have built-in backdoors that allow teachers to identify students who are doing so and create questions that can only be answered by someone who’s read the actual book.
In a math scenario, though, this isn’t really the case. I think math sparknotes should be used as official textbooks. They’re probably the main reason I figured out what the hell was going on in algebra.

oh, is the charger included when we purchase the hoverboard or would that cost separately?
It uses a 30-pin charger, which is the same one used by iPods and iPhones, so even if yours doesn’t come with one, it should be easy to find for cheap, or you may already have one!

but then they would function as regular snowboards and we therefore have sacrificed a great deal of money when we could just buy a snowboard! assuming hoverboards cost more than snowboards.
Well, you could just recharge it!

i was wondering about that too, but i can never picture swishing my foot in the air to make a hoverboard run (example: in Back to the Future), like making skateboards go. while roller skates (for me) are the perfect parable for jetboots
Well, if you have power, you don’t have to swish and they work over water.
Although it’s just occurred to me that if I was an Earthbender, I would make a ceramic toboggan and just sled everywhere on it.
plutarcheries replied to your post: Continuing an ongoing debate between me and my friends going back five years: Jetboots or hoverboard?
hoverboard because i’m assuming (having never to actually tried both) they are like rollerskates and snowboards and i’ve always had trouble with rollerskates
I’m mostly wondering why you said “rollerskates and snowboards” instead of “ice skates and snowboards” or “roller skates and skateboards.”
That’s a pretty good rationale, though. I could see where that might be easier for you.

is it the feeling where you have this heavy weight on your chest because OMG HAPPENS TO ME ALOT and then i’d have to search for their meanings even though we all know lyrics can mean different things to different people but i can’t help it what
It’s more the feeling that I’ve been drained of any willpower, and that my brain is chemically incapable of remembering the sensation of happiness, so it’s impossible for me to feel like I could possibly feel it again.
Basically look up J.K. Rowling’s description of a dementor, that’s what I’m feeling. She actually based dementors on the way I feel right now (not joking). The dementor’s kiss, the “fate worse than death,” has the effect of making the victim feel like this for the remainder of their lifetime.

No, of course not.

Neutral, I guess? I was never really big on grunge, and my expertise on Nirvana specifically is that it contained Kurt Cobain, who would later kill himself (I’ve heard some people say Courtney Love did it but I’m not 100% on who that is, so I don’t want to jump to conclusions).
And that is what I know about Nirvana.
